Keefe Family

I was so excited to do these family pictures!!  Drew was my 100th Fan on Facebook ("Like my page here) so he got 50% off a photo shoot!  The only way to stay up on random deals like that one is to BECOME A FAN! :)  Come on, you know you want to!

Anyways, I used to work with Drew and have known his family for a few years now.  And I've watched his family grow and grow in those couple years!  I did their family pictures last year before I even officially had a business going.  Well, this year, they have a new addition and I was very excited to document this time in their lives!!

This is how it started out... hahahaha!  This didn't last long though! :)

Policani Family

This photo shoot was so much fun!  I met the Policani's at the Ballard Locks on a BEAUTIFUL summer day!  The flowers were blooming, the sun was shining and the Policani kids were having a blast running around while I took their pictures!  These are definitely some of my favorite family pictures to date!! :)

Jayce :: Newborn

Woohoo!  Post #2 of the day! :)

Meet Jayce!  This sweet little guy was only 9 days old when I took his pictures.

Jason & Liz :: Married

Ok, so based on my blogger absence, you probably all think I haven't taken very many pictures this summer...  The truth is that I've been SO BUSY taking pictures that I haven't gotten around to blogging about them!!  If you're a fan of Megan Michaelis Photography on Facebook, however, you'd be up to date on all my recent photo shoots.  So if you're not a fan already, what are you waiting for?!  "Like" My Facebook page HERE. :)

This post documents the marriage of Jason and Liz.  They were married up in Lynnwood on a beautiful summer day...well at least it turned into a beautiful day after the rain quit!  Enjoy!!

Austin James :: Newborn

Little Austin was only 5 days old when I took these pictures.  Back in June I did Amy's maternity pictures, which you can see here.  These pictures just make you want to squeeze and snuggle this adorable baby!!

The theme of Brad and Amy's nursery is Owls.  So I found this ADORABLE hat on Etsy and surprised Amy with it.  I wish I had a picture of her face when she saw this!  She was SO surprised!

One of my friends said that in the picture on the right, it looks like Austin is playing air guitar and rockin out! Hahaha! :)

 One of my favorites!!

LOVE this one of Turbo, protecting little Austin!

If anyone is interested, here is the Etsy store I ordered the owl hat from:  JoJosBootique

Matt & Amanda :: Married

Wow, I have some catching up to do!!  The last 6 weeks have been SO BUSY!!  After Matt & Amanda got married, my sister was in town for two weeks and I've since had 3 other weddings, two newborn photo shoots and two family shoots.  Add all this to my regular day job and it's no wonder I'm just getting around to posting this!!  :)  But stay tuned, there will be more soon as I catch up!

So, here we are!  After taking pictures at virtually every milestone throughout Matt & Amanda's engagement (see previous post here), the wedding finally happened and the photos show what a fabulous day it was!  Enjoy!!

Matt & Emily :: Engaged

This was probably one of the most fun photos shoots I've ever done!  The week before my friends Matt & Amanda got married (See some photos from their engagement here), they wanted some more engagement pictures done.  Amanda's friend and bridesmaid, Emily, came along with her fiance (also named Matt).  So we decided to do some engagement photos for them too!

We got on this awesome bridge and found some very appropriate graffiti for an engagement session.  LOVE THIS PICTURE!

Ok this last picture needs some explaining...Emily and Matt had never seen slugs like what we have here in good 'ol Washington...they're from WI and PA.  Being from WI and IL myself, I can attest--these gross things do not live out there.  So they thought it would be funny to take a picture of the ring next to this slug.  Eewww. :)
